Krayon terms of use
What is Krayon?
Krayon is an online listing platform for offline learning experiences such as classes and workshops.
The Service
Krayon helps workshops teachers find more students i.e. customers. It also helps these workshops students find, discover and book a wide selection of classes and workshops in a whole variety of subjects.
Members
In order to avail of the Service, Teachers and Students must become Krayon members.
Becoming a member and setting up a Krayon Account
Becoming a Krayon Member is free. In order to access certain features of the Site and App, to list, book and buy a Krayon class, you must register to become a member and create a ‘Krayon Account’.
In order to become a member of Krayon you must first read and agree to the Krayon terms and conditions in this User Agreement. By accepting this User Agreement and the Krayon Privacy Policy, you agree that this User Agreement will apply when using any Krayon sites or services.
Krayon members must be 18 or over in order to sign up unless they have received the express permission of a parent/guardian.
As part of the registration process you will create a username and password for your Krayon Account. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password, and are fully responsible for all liability and damages resulting from your failure to maintain that confidentiality and all activities that occur through the use of your password.
You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or any other breach of security. You agree that Krayon cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above information.
Using Krayon
By agreeing to the Krayon User Agreement, you agree that you will not:
Violate any laws, Krayon policies or third party rights
Post any inappropriate, false, defamatory, misleading or libelous content on any areas of Krayon’s sites or services
Fail to pay fully for a workshop or class purchased by you, unless the workshop descriptions have been changed following your purchase
Fail to deliver a class purchased from you
Manipulate or circumvent our fee and bookings structures
Take any action or post any content that may undermine the Krayon ratings system
Transfer your Krayon account to another party without our express permission
Teachers
In order to list workshops, teachers must first become a members by creating a Krayon Account and signing up to our free Trial.
Your Krayon Account and your Krayon Account profile page will be created for your use of the Site and App based upon the personal information you provide to us.
You may not have more than one (1) active Krayon Account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current and complete. Krayon reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Krayon Account and your access to the Site, App and Services if you create more than one (1) Krayon Account, or if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, fraudulent, not current or incomplete. Krayon does not endorse Teachers and may undertake random checks to verify the accuracy of information submitted.
By listing a class on Krayon’s sites, you agree to pay Krayon’s fees for this service and assume full responsibility for the content of the listing and class offered.
Krayon reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Krayon membership of any Teacher without prior notice. In such an instance, Krayon also reserves the right to refuse any subsequent membership applications from that individual.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions of your membership, you have declared that all workshop/class content supplied for inclusion on the Krayon website can and will be delivered by you on the date and at the time stated in a professional and competent manner.
It is at the discretion of a Krayon Teacher to ask any Student that is deemed to be interfering unnecessarily or intentionally with the running of the class and the learning experience of other Students, to leave. This includes foul or abusive behaviour (verbal and/or physical) towards the Teacher or fellow Students.
If a Teacher needs to cancel a class for any reason, a full refund will be given to any Students who have already booked and paid for places in that class unless an agreed rescheduling can be agreed regarding the booking.
Legal
By listing a class or booking a class through the Krayon Service, a Teacher and Student understand and accept that they are contracting with each other and Krayon is not a party to this contract. You will not hold Krayon responsible for the content or delivery of the classes that they list.
Disputes
We sincerely hope that disputes will never arise, but if they do, you as a Teacher or Student, will agree to cooperate in trying to resolve any issues amicably and quickly in a cost effective manner.
Should a Student feel the need to submit a complaint regarding the class content, it’s delivery or the professionalism or ability of the Teacher, they may submit their complaint to Krayon via email. If a complaint is received from a Student, Krayon will contact the Teacher of the relevant class directly to ascertain their point of view so as to ensure that fairness is part of the complaints procedure.
Krayon reserves the right to alter our T&Cs at any time.
Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Krayon, its directors and staff harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
